How does Hyundai Roadside Assistance work?

Five-year roadside assistance coverage takes effect on all new Hyundais starting the day it is delivered to the buyer. The 24/7/365 protection is available in all 50 states as well as Canada and completely covers the cost of the first two roadside assistance events in 12 months—charges will come out of pocket after your second roadside call in a calendar year.

Hyundai Roadside Assistance offers several solutions and covers the following services:

Trip interruption

Flat tire repair

Battery replacement

Gas delivery

Hyundai will not reimburse any damage costs related to collisions, racing, or any other event not covered by the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Assistance also is not offered for off-road conditions as the vehicle must be accessible from a publicly maintained road to qualify for Hyundai’s service.

Keep in mind that there are certain limitations and conditions to some of the services offered. For example, to receive trip interruption benefits, you must be at least 150 miles from your home, your vehicle must be disabled overnight, and reimbursement is capped at $100 per day for no more than three days.
