Does Mitsubishi’s warranty transfer to a second owner?

I’m getting ready to post my Mitsubishi that I just bought 2 years ago for sale online, and I want to make sure I advertise the right information. Is my warranty transferable?

While most of
Mitsubishi’s
substantial warranty coverage does transfer to the new owner, the exception is your 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. This only applies to the original owner of the new car.
While the powertrain limited warranty is non-transferable, your buyer will receive the balance of the rest of your warranty coverage, which includes:
  • 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty
  • 7-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion/perforation limited warranty
  • 5-year/60,000-mile restraint system warranty
  • 5-year/unlimited-mileage roadside assistance
Selling your used car on your own is a great way to ensure you get all the money it’s worth rather than just what a dealer is willing to give you for a trade. While you’re making sure you get all the money in your pocket that you deserve, make sure you aren’t taking more out of your pocket than you should be on other car-related expenses, like
