has Bluetooth if it is a newer model—but it varies by trim level and model year.
The Mazda 6 was first introduced in the early 2000s, and a lot has changed concerning car technology in the last two decades!
If you drive an older Mazda 6 (aka model year 2007 or earlier), then your vehicle probably does not have Bluetooth capability.
Bluetooth became available on the Mazda 6 Sedan with the 2009 Grand Touring. The 2010 Mazda 6 Touring Plus and Grand Touring also came with Bluetooth. Higher trim levels on the 2011-2013 Mazda 6 Touring came with Bluetooth.
However, it wasn’t until the 2014 Mazda 6 Sport with automatic transmission that Bluetooth became a standard feature on the base trim Mazda 6. Bluetooth was not available on a base Sport Mazda 6 with manual transmission until the 2016 model was released.
