How do I fix peeling car buttons on my steering wheel and stereo?

What's the best way to fix peeling car buttons on my dashboard? I’ve had the same car for 10 years, and I still love it. Unfortunately, the paint/plastic is starting to peel away from some of the control buttons.

Peeling paint can be a pain. Unfortunately, you only have two options for fixing peeling paint on your buttons: **Touch them up or replace them.
If you plan on touching them up, buy enamel paint pen in the color of your car’s buttons. It costs about $5 to $10 and can make your car look much nicer at a glance. From there, you can follow these steps:
  • Shake the pen to agitate the paint.
  • Press the tip against a spare bit of cardboard to make sure it’s loaded with paint.
  • Cut off any half-peeled bits of paint or rubber.
  • Lightly run the paint over the peeled areas.
  • Let it dry.
And that’s it! Your car should look as good as new—so long as you don’t focus too much on the buttons. You could also fix it professionally by replacing any peeling parts with new ones—but that will likely be far more expensive.
While you’re taking the time to touch up your buttons, take an extra minute to save on
