I just bought a 2013 Ford Explorer. love everything about it, but I can’t figure out how to play music via Bluetooth. What do I need to do to use Ford SYNC to play music via Bluetooth audio?

Playing music through Bluetooth on the Ford SYNC system only takes a matter of seconds and allows you to wirelessly play music on your phone or via the internet. To play music through Bluetooth on Ford SYNC from 2013, follow these steps:
  1. Make sure that your phone is paired to the Bluetooth system.
  2. Bring up the song, streaming service, or music library on your phone.
  3. On the steering wheel, press the voice recognition button.
  4. Say “Bluetooth Audio.”
  5. A voice should say that you’re paired successfully with Bluetooth audio.
  6. Start the song on your phone and you should hear it through the audio system.
When you’re using Bluetooth Audio, you can use the steering wheel-mounted controls to change the track, pause the song, or adjust the volume.
Alternatively, you can always use the Ford SYNC auxiliary port or USB port to listen to music, although the Bluetooth system provides the tunes you want without all of the extra wires.
