How do I stop my car insurance from automatically renewing?

I think I need to find a new insurance provider once my billing cycle ends—I’m not really satisfied with my current plan. However, I don’t want to accidentally pay double. Is there any way to stop my car insurance from automatically renewing?

Kudos to you for making the switch! I’m happy to say that you can opt out of auto-renewal at any time. To start, simply go to your insurance provider’s website.
Your provider’s website should have specific instructions for canceling auto-renewal—so follow those and you should be good! That way, while you’re switching to a new provider, you won’t accidentally pay for both

policies.
Once you’ve opted out of your current policy’s auto-renewal, you should make sure that you have a new policy lined up. To find one easily, check out the
Jerry
app—we’ll get you personalized quotes from different providers, so all you have to do is pick the plan that works best for you. And once you’ve chosen one, we’ll help you with every step of switching!
Best of luck!
