Where are Ford parts made?

I know that one of Ford’s biggest selling points is that they are American-made, but I’m wondering where exactly Ford parts are made?

While the vast majority of Ford models are assembled in the U.S.A., many of the parts that Ford uses in their cars come from both international and homegrown manufacturing plants. Ford sources parts from the following places:
  • Ontario, Canada - door hinges and arms
  • Shiga-Ken, China - suspension stabilizer linkages
  • Komarom-Esztergom, Hungary - steering columns
  • Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland - starter assemblies
  • Schierling, Germany - sliding sunroofs
  • Nanjing, China - instrument panel components
  • Des Moines, Iowa - running boards
  • Clackamas, Oregon - axle assemblies
  • Bogota, Columbia - mufflers and exhaust systems
  • Stockholm, Sweden - airbags
For vehicles as well-renowned as Ford models, it’s important to have the best possible
