Where are GMC trucks made?

I’ve always been a fan of GMC trucks because I like American-made goods. However, I’m not sure if their trucks are still made here or if the company has outsourced the process elsewhere. Where does GMC make its trucks?

If you love shopping for American-made goods, GMC trucks won’t disappoint. Almost all GMC trucks are produced in the United States, and the ones that aren’t are made in Mexico. However, GMC holds all of its vehicles to the same standard, meaning you won’t see a difference in quality no matter where the truck rolls off the assembly line.
Here’s a quick look at where the various GMC truck models are made:
  • GMC Canyon: Wentzville, Missouri
  • GMC Sierra 1500: Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Silao, Mexico
  • GMC Sierra Heavy Duty: Flint, Michigan
Whether you’re a fan of the midsized Canyon or you want the rough-and-tumble Sierra Heavy Duty, now is the time to start thinking about
